Screen printing is ideal for large-scale productions and varied surfaces, offering long-lasting, high-quality prints. Meanwhile, vinyl is perfect for smaller, more detailed applications, providing precise and resistant designs. Both techniques have their own advantages and distinctive features, so the choice depends on the specific needs and end goal of each project.

Screen printing technique: Durable and versatile prints

Screen printing consists of applying the ink directly with a screen on the piece to be printed through a process of emulsion and engraving. In contrast, vinyl is a plastic adhesive that is attached to the piece to be printed by means of a plate that emits heat.

In screen printing it is recommended if you have in mind to print from 50/60 units as the screen can be reused, whereas vinyl is recommended for productions of less than 50 units or larger sizes as the price will be more economical.

Different screen sizes in screen printing:

• Logos 25 cm high up to 30 cm long.
• Logos 25 cm high up to 55 cm in length
• Logos 25 cm high up to 80 cm in length

Vinyl, on the other hand, is a self-adhesive plastic material used to create designs or graphics that can be applied to different surfaces, such as walls, vehicles, windows and clothing. Vinyl printing is done through a computer-controlled cutting process, which allows for precise and detailed shapes. Vinyl is known for its durability and weather resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
